An exhibition by Gad Apotecker
and Andrei Sharf

Introspective:
The installation creates a novel up to date
dialogue between two domains: the sculpture-museum space and the digital 3D space.
The sculpture is positioned in its original place in the museum while above, on
a digital screen its same 3D figure. These are two observation modes that
combined together create a complete and novel experience.
Apotecker and Sharf expose
the dynamic motion and playfulness that exist in sculptures. By positioning
them on screens close to other sculptures, dreamlike theatrical scenes form. By
moving the sculpture in 3D space, endless points of view and scenes arise.
Within this new dimension, the artist work is
revealed to the spectator. In reference to these elements, a peeping atmosphere
is developed at the spectator. The installation exposes the sculptures, their
relations and tensions – the spectator peeps into an illusion of intimate
sealed space.
